Solas Tapas & Wine Bar Menu 2020
Solas Tapas Wine Bar
At Solas Tapas & Wine Bar the chef, Nick Foley, and front of house, Ann Connell, are serving Mediterranean-style small plates on the Dingle Peninsula. Our favourites include fennel marinated in Dingle gin with toasted almonds, mint, ricotta and sweet tomatoes, and squid stuffed with Annascaul black pudding and parsley butter. This casual spot doesn't discourage drop-in food enthusiasts, but reservations are wise on busy Dingle weekends, such as those for Feile na Bealtaine, Dingle Food Festival and Other Voices.

Tannery Restaurant Townhouse Cookery School
Tannery
Since Paul and Máire Flynn opened The Tannery in 1997, it has become one of the most original and welcoming experiences in Irish food. What makes it special? There is Paul’s cooking, of course – his fresh Waterford produce, ever-changing menus and mouth-watering focus on flavour. There are cosy chats in the wine bar, warm and welcoming service from expert staff, a bright and buzzy atmosphere at the tables. There is our unique location in the seaside town of Dungarvan, a stone’s throw from the Copper Coast and Comeragh Mountains. But most of all, there is the Tannery’s knack for serving up that most important of ingredients: a great time.

Tartare Restaurant Menus 2020
Tartare Restaurant
J.P. McMahon (an Irish Times contributor) has created a cool, unpretentious room where great flavours in wine and food can be enjoyed without having to pull up a table and tuck your knees under a white tablecloth. It's a sign of how far we've come that cooking of the standard the Tartare team maintain can be served in a relaxed bar setting. Deliciousness does not have to come with a side order of formality.

Teach an Tae Inis Oirr Menu 2017
Teach an Tae
Alissa & Michael Donoghue opened the door of the family home, built in the 1800’s, as the Aran Café & Tea Rooms in 2005. Though Michael’s family goes back for unknown generations on Inisheer, Alissa is an American ‘blow-in’ who was visiting the island with her grandparents when she and Michael first met. Michael served her tea and porter cake in these same rooms, and the rest, as they say, is history. Michael grows a large garden made with seaweed and sand in the island tradition, and raises free-ranging hens and ducks for their fresh eggs. Michael’s mother has taught Alissa how to make the family’s traditional brown bread, scones and jams, and she bakes each morning from scratch. The Donoghue’s enjoy providing food with integrity and adding something special to their customers’ visit to the Aran Islands. They know the power a cup of tea and slice of cake can have!

The Burren Storehouse Menu 2017
The Burren Storehouse
The Burren Storehouse is the brand new music and food venue, a place to watch sport events and more right next door to the Roadside Tavern! It was inaugurated in May 2015 when the Burren Slow Food Festival Banquet was held here.
There is a string of gigs lined up for the summer and autumn months of 2016, so watch out for those on our Live Music page!
We are offering great food in the Burren Storehouse: Wood-fired artisan pizzas with amazing toppings; chargrilled foods from our indoor charcoal grill - the menu changes every night but it is always locally sourced ingredients like fish, shellfish, artisan local meats and poultry.
We also have a variety of cocktails on offer! And of course fresh from the microbrewery, the Burren Brewery, next door: Burren Black, Burren Gold and Burren Red.

In September 2007 the building was acquired by new owners and renamed “The Church Bar & Restaurant” and its range of services was expanded to include a Café, Night Club and a Barbeque area on the terrace.
