The Journal of Franco-Irish Studies (JOFIS) is the peer-reviewed journal of the National Centre for Franco-Irish Studies (NCFIS) and the Association for Franco-Irish Studies (AFIS) at Technological University Dublin. The journal is open access and will publish two issues per year. One of those issues will be published each autumn, and linked, whenever possible, to postgraduate research seminars held at TU Dublin. The other, a themed issue published in the spring, will be based on a Call for Papers covering a broad scope of disciplinary approaches in the field of studies connected to Ireland and/or France. Spontaneous submissions are always welcome. The journal accepts manuscripts in English or French. Sign up to the mailing list to be kept up to date on activities.
The journal is free for authors and the editorial staff comply with the code of conduct of COPE: the Committee on Publication Ethics.
