Abstract
The DMLS module is delivered to Master’s level students focus on the design, analysis, and management of logistics systems. As generative AI tools are becoming increasingly common in higher education and professional practice, I wanted to encourage students to engage with these technologies critically and responsibly rather than avoid them entirely. Alongside the use of digital engagement tools such as Vevox during lectures and seminars, I redesigned one assessment brief to integrate the use of AI into the learning process. The intention was to support students in developing prompt engineering skills, understanding the strengths and limitations of AI-generated content, and strengthening their critical analysis abilities. This approach aimed to align assessment practices more closely with emerging digital literacy requirements in postgraduate education.
