Abstract
The HDip in Medical Science is offered as a part time three-year programme or a full-time two-year programme. These 2 programmes are taught alongside the BSc in Medical Science, therefore any changes to teaching modalities have to be carefully considered across all 3 programmes. Learners on the part time course are also in full employment within clinical laboratories in Ireland. To facilitate a maximum of 2 days onsite, hyflex teaching was introduced for this cohort on a third day so that they can attend on-site, online live or access a recording. The full time BSc and HDip cohort can access them in a hybrid modality, onsite or live.
