Abstract

NetSupport School is a comprehensive computer lab management software system designed to enhance the teaching and learning experiences. It offers a range of features including screen monitoring, screen sharing, web filtering, real-time instruction, and assessment tools. Lecturers can monitor student activity, control access to websites and applications, and provide remote assistance. Prior to implementation and use of NetSupport School students could be distracted and not pay full attention during software demonstrations that were delivered via lecture podium and projector. With NetSupport lecturers can effectively control and communicate with connected student desktops. This allows for a high degree of collaboration, feedback and attention to detail between the lecturer and class. In lab-based exam situations access to applications can be limited via a white or black list.
