ITU Dublin - DiT (Disrupting Thinking) inaugural event in collaboration with the University of Limerick, University of Pau and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya was launched on the 15th December 2020. We received over 100 research papers for our first event, but only 41 could be included as part of our programme. We received exceptional papers, and it was great to see a combination of academics, researchers, and practitioners sharing their ideas. The event took place online, enabling us to come together during these challenging times.

Dr Lucía Morales from the School of Accounting and Finance organised the event in collaboration with Prof. Bernadette Andreosso-O’Callaghan (UL), Prof. Jacques Jaussaud (University of Pau) and Dr Daniel Rajmil (UOC). Dr Lucía Morales offered some comments on the event:“DiT (Disrupting Thinking) endeavours to offer a forum that encourages innovative and disruptive studies. We are facing serious challenges concerning the global economic, educational and social divide and we need to foster events that encourage academics, researchers and practitioners to question our reality and to work towards a more equal and balanced socio-economic system. We are hoping that DiT will consolidate as a forum open to all disciplines that seek to question the way that our social and economic goals are evolving”
