Guidelines for Authors

Research Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Critical Reflections, Panel Discussions

Disrupting Thinking (DiT) invites submissions from across all disciplines and domains to its Events and Critical Reflections Series. DiT is an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, crossdisciplinary and transdisciplinary educational and research space that seeks to develop critical insights that are accessible to specialised and non-specialised audiences with a strong emphasis on high academic standards on research contributions.

Our Critical Reflections format consists of concise original pieces that will enable quick communication and dissemination. The core features of the “reflection” format are as follows: i) contributions are limited to 750 words; ii) reflective pieces should be written to convey the essence of the research, educational findings, and critical thinking insights that contribute to fostering discussion and debate.

All submissions that pass the desk-rejection phase will be subject to a careful peer-review process. With few exceptions, in which submissions are sent back for minor editorial revisions before acceptance, each critical reflection will be either accepted based on revisions or rejected. Detailed reports will not be provided; the reasons for the decision will be explained in a brief cover letter from the editor. DiT critical reflections aim to have a quick turnover time of up to three months between the submission and final decision.

All contributions and ideas to participate in our events and Critical Reflections Series are very welcome.
