Abstract
Enhancing flexible access to module content, particularly announcements, was the key driver behind the use of Video Notes. This approach supports a more personalised form of interaction by using short videos to communicate updates such as timetable changes, assessment deadlines, and grade releases. By allowing students to both see and hear their lecturer alongside reading written information, Video Notes create a more interactive and informative experience. This contributes to a more immersive VLE environment, helping to strengthen the student - lecturer connection by reducing cognitive distance. Overall, the aim is to enhance the student learning experience while supporting Universal Design for Learning by ensuring content is accessible, flexible, and engaging.
