CALL for Autumn 2025 Issue

This CALL is for short items related to aspects of research design, methodology and methods.

We invite research supervisors, PhD students and recent graduates who have experience of supervising and/or conducting research, to submit short items that would be of interest and use to current and future researchers at doctoral level.

Topics could include:

  1. 'Insider-outsider' researcher in a collaborative research project
  2. Using blogs to gather data
  3. Scoping studies and scoping surveys
  4. Interviewing through an interpreter/translator
  5. Using software for analysis of text in a second/third language.

Length and structure
Items should be circa 1,500 words in total.
The preferred structure is:
