Abstract

This piece is composed of two parts. The first is entitled Eating In and carries 3 photographs of the preparation of a dish prepared by Jackie Needham "Grattan (Gratin?) of Prawns with Escalpes Bonne Femme. The second part is entitled Eating Out and rates 4 restaurants under the categories of Place, Welcome, Food, Wine, Service, the Total. The 4 restaurants are the Russell Hotel, Oyster Grill, Gold Crock, Slieve Donard Hotel. The Russel Hotel gains three stars for food the final comment being "One can detect the hand of a genuine expert behind the final result"
