The mission of the HUCBMS is to promote the development and enhancement of biomedical sciences teaching and research. It promotes national and international quality standards in biomedical sciences teaching and research; it seeks to ensure that adequate resources are available to departments of biomedical sciences; it provides benchmarks for model curricula; provides advice and guidance to biomedical sciences departments and promotes the exchange of views, dissemination of information and collaboration between member institutions
