Methodology
The data relates to the findings from an extensive visitor survey that was administered through face to face interviews. These were carried out at eight locations across Dublin city so as to achieve a good geographical spread. All overseas visitor types to the city were included but domestic travellers excluded. 1000 surveys were completed each year with all data analysed using the SPSS software package.
