Abstract

This publication ‘Entrepreneurship Book of Vietnamese Cases’ is part of the ‘Supporting Entrepreneurial Development in ICT in Vietnamese HEIs – ICTentr’ project, an initiative which aims to support the national goals of Vietnam to modernise higher education systems and improve skills in ICT through capacity development. The overall objective of this project is to provide ICT students with an entrepreneurial mindset, soft skills and a professional attitude when graduating from the university. The activities are targeted both to students and teachers involved in enhancing innovation. The project is coordinated by the University of Turku (UTU), Finland. The consortium is also composed of two other European Higher Education Institutions (Dublin Institute of Technology and University of Leon) and three Vietnamese HEIs (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Danang and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology). The project is financed through EU funding under the Erasmus+ Programme for the action Capacity-Building in Higher Education (CBHE) The overall aim of the book is for cases to be introduced as teaching support material and to provide the students with concrete and relevant local business cases. The cases, described as stories, seek to light the imagination of students. After the teachers present the cases to the students, the students will explore and review several dimensions of different theories, processes and practices that are integral to the study of entrepreneurship.
