Abstract

This report presents the findings of the Fingal Water Project, a research study undertaken over the period 2018–2023 to investigate water quality and the application of Floating Treatment Wetland (FTW) systems in five freshwater ponds within the Fingal County Council area. The report documents the project's research, findings and recommendations, including the development of an evidence-based framework to support the assessment and management of applying nature based solutions in an effort to regulate pond water quality.
