Abstract

This is the menu for a state luncheon hosted by the Taoiseach Sean Lemass and his wife in honour of President Richard Nixon and his wife on the occasion of their visit to Ireland. The venu was St. Patrick's Hall, Dublin Castle.

The menu is in the form of a card with a stapled insert detailing the occasion, the menu for the lunch and the toasts. The first toast is proposed by the President of Ireland and the second by the President of the United States. The menu is in both English and Irish.
