With our applied focus remit and long-term external networks in a range of fields, we always try to work seamlessly with collaborators across the Region of South County Dublin, nationally and internationally. Research-informed teaching from our home grown outputs is something we also foster.

Our Expertise:Academics on campus have the expertise that can deliver excellent results and outputs adding value to society, enterprise and industry in areas including Energy, Environment and Health; Communications and Media; New Materials and Devices; Society, Culture and Enterprise. These are key areas for driving our future research and innovation agenda, and are aligned those identified in the National Priority Areas for Research 2018 – 2023, and are underpinned by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
