David Kane will demonstrate a new discovery tool developed by the Library at Waterford Institute of Technology. Researchscope searches a number of institutional repositories simultaneously thus greatly facilitating the retrieval of information.

David Kane is Systems Librarian at Waterford Institute of Technology. He is passionate about open access to research and is interested in the opportunities that the web technologies have created for scholarly communication. Prior to joining the Library Service at WIT, David served as a systems administrator in WIT's TSSG, as WIT Web Master and worked for many years prior to that as a web developer.
